Innovative solutions for health promotion!
Deadline for project proposals until October 14, 2022.
The Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft (LBG) and Gesundheit Österreich GmbH (GÖG) are looking for innovative solutions to the complex challenges of an aging society within the framework of the newly founded Open Innovation in Science Impact Lab "Caring Communities for Future". By creating opportunities for participation and improving the interaction between civil society initiatives, municipal administrations and professional services, the quality of life and health of citizens should be improved and the burden on the health and care system reduced.
The Caring Communities for Future Lab sees itself as a laboratory for open innovation and transdisciplinarity in science. Funding is provided for transdisciplinary research projects involving social actors that contribute to the further development and sustainable anchoring of Caring Communities. These innovations should have a positive impact on health and social coexistence in everyday life.
Scientific staff at Austrian research institutions and non-profit organizations are invited to submit their project proposals by October 14, 2022.
The earliest possible project start is January 2023. The projects are financially supported by the LBG. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, the Competence Center Future Health Promotion (Fonds Gesundes Österreich (FGÖ)/GÖG) supports the knowledge transfer of the research projects with innovative, community-based practical projects.
