"Deaf Gain" art exhibition with Mach's Auf

The art exhibition "Deaf Gain" was created by a team of 8 Deaf artists who presented their works under the theme of “Deaf Power, Gain and Community”. With their art, the artists presented the meaning of these terms from their personal perspective and gave viewers an insight into the world of Deaf culture. A central aspect emphasized by the artworks is the beauty of sign language. On the opening night, over 100 curious visitors gathered in the exhibition space to see the artists' works.

The team consisted of: Oliver Suchanek (curator), Eli Trittremmel, Franz Steinbrecher, Cecilia Göbl, Beti Marak, Gabriel Manasch, Marko Lalic and Teresa Pristacova.
